Meet Lisa

Owner, educator,
& climate warrior

It might have begun in 7th grade science fair, but her journey has turned into more than she could have imagined.

Now an award-winning, 16-year veteran of the industry, she has helped thousands explore solar and successfully installed hundreds of systems in the Chicago-land area.

when she learned more about climate change and the destruction caused by fossil fuels, she decided she would be part of the solution.

After 20 years in marketing, Lisa retooled herself to become a Renewable Energy Specialist at Solar Service in Niles and began designing and selling solar arrays for residential and commercial properties.

In 2008 she joined the Board of Directors for the Illinois Solar Energy Association as Secretary. She remains on the board today, promoting solar and advocating for strong clean energy policy. Lisa has held the VP role and initiated the Policy Committee where she led the 1st Solar Lobby Day in Springfield.

Lisa founded All Bright Solar in 2018 where she continues to deliver excellent customer service for residential and small commercial solar customers. With a focus on education, she strives to ensure owners understand the maze of incentives and nuances around technology, empowering them to go solar with confidence.

Over her tenure in the industry, she has testified before various state government committees and consulted with municipalities regarding solar permitting guidelines including the City of Chicago Solar Express Permit Process. She loves hosting “Lunch-N-Learns” with architects and builders and spreading the benefits of solar to community influencers.

In 2009 Lisa was awarded the 1st “American Solar Energy Association’s Solar Hero” for her efforts in creating the Illinois Portion of the National Solar Tour.

but really...

she loves being aunt lisa

To her 10 nieces and nephews and the scores of kids she’s “adopted”. She is playful, silly, open and sincere and thrives on meeting new people and being a good neighbor. She loves the outdoors, playing volleyball on the shores of Lake Michigan and scuba diving to connect to nature. She believes in rainbows and unicorns, is optimistic even when uncertain and has eternal faith in the goodness of others.

Trained with the Climate Reality Project in 2012, Lisa often speaks on either solar or climate change and has given over 100 talks for schools, churches and community groups. She is happy to tailor a presentation for your group and always speaks for free.
